Shy Smile

I know I promised that headshot montage but that's been put on hiatus for now so instead I present this. I started it last night and I have to say, I'm pretty pleased with it, not to mention it was completed pretty fast for me, even though It did take all afternoon.

Yes that is Kaori from Akira. I love that girl, I swear. I think I may have made her hair a little too light but I didn't have a darker brown (If you pay attention in teh film you see her hair's actually dark brown and not black, just like Kai's) OKay, I'll admit, I am a bit of an Akira fan but I'm okay with that. It's a shame what happens to her in the end (in both versions)

The lineart is a little shakey in some places but I'm really pleased with the colouring, especially the orange/yellow/pink colour scheme ... I want clothes like that now. I'm a little worried that I made the speech bubble too dark though, I like drawing those pictorial speech bubbles that sort of break out of the frame though. Before you ask, yes I have gotten into colouring with highlighted pink areas on the skin. I know it's used on alot of hentai pictures, so shoot me, I'll probably grow up to be a dirty pervert anyway XD

Constructive critisism is appriciated, flames are not, but please bear in mind that this is the final piece and I will not be altering it.
